CandyRedRC46
everything is stainless. mild steel is a bad idea. maybe so but they offered the headers in both sus and mild steel. Who did? Motad is stainless only, really high quality.
Member Contributer CornerCarver Posted June 6, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted June 6, 2013 TBR offered a mild steel header, I thought that's what this thread was about?
CandyRedRC46
Oh, not that I have ever heard of. The factory 98 and 99 headers were mild, and I am almost positive that that's it.
Member Contributer sa1713 Posted June 6, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted June 6, 2013 TBR offered both mild and ss steel for the 98-09. OEM 98-99 are mild steel with 00+ ss.
Baileyrock
TBR offered both mild and ss steel for the 98-09. OEM 98-99 are mild steel with 00+ ss. Pretty sure the OEM wasn't SS until the 02 Vtec model, but are the smaller tube/w Cat.
CandyRedRC46
I couldn't imagine Two Brothers manufacturing a mild steel header. I have only seen one of these full race systems/headers in person and it was the Erion version. It was stainless and it was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. CandyRedRC46
update: I have the two brothers full system on my bike and it is fierce! Trap speed is now at 125.55 mph on my last run in September. I hope to get some winter runs in and see if I can get close to 130 mph!
