Guest sml2727
I have been trying to get more information about this product, does anyone on here have these? if so what do you think? I would really like to own a vfr1200 but the ergo's dont really thrill me that much. Theses mounts could be the trick. Thanks http://www.spieglerusa.com/handlebar-conversion-kit-4287.htm
VFR4Lee
It's a whole different VFR, but I love their bars on my 5th gen bike. Much more comfortable riding position. Ymmv due to 2 gen removed.

Member Contributer dalesvfr Posted April 22, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted April 22, 2013 I did it on my 2003. Beautifully machined block, but he bar they give you in the kit is still too low in my opinion and I added the 599/919 bars (I paid something like $90 at local dealer - you can find them cheaper than that I'm sure) and had to do a lot of cable/hose rerouting. Those bars are predrilled for the indexing pins in your switch assemblies so it was easy. You have to use generic bar end weights with a hollow bar as the ones from stock won't work. I wish Spiegler just sold the riser block and would knock a hundred dollars off the price without the bar and oversized shipping. Made the bike much more comfortable for me. One thing it does though is raise you higher up into the windstream too, so you may end up revisiting windscreens after that mod.
