Guest
Another option I'm considering is getting a bottle jack, and using a long 2x4 under the header of the garage. Tire should be pretty well warmed up now, though. So I suppose I should go out and give it another shot. My problem is that while I can push the bead away from the outer lip of the wheel, it is still on the first horizontal "shelf" if you will. spud786
No dice with the clamp, nor the 2x4 method. All I've accomplished so far is lifting my car up in the air... Leaving the tire in the sun while I try a new recipe for lunch, pulled carnitas. I suppose I'll bug the neighbor to see if she minds me using her truck. if you doing weird stuff like running a car over, I hope you removed the rotors if a front tire
Guest
Rotor is toast from something else, but I've still got it up on some wood planks. Broke the first bead with just some tire irons, second one is proving difficult.
Guest
Update: Spooned my ST3's rear tire off, then back on. I'll see about doing my Honda's in a week or two.
