otmaximus
I'm looking for a way to mount various electronics on the triple-clamp, like a GPS, satellite radio, phone, etc. Anyone have any novel ideas how to do this on a 4G? Thanks, Paul in SoCal

smackdoogle
I was looking for the same stuff for my 3rd gen since I want to start using the GPS but I just decided to not clutter up the triple and get this tankbag. http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/luggage/tank_bags/cycle_case/expander_gps_magnetic_tank_bag.html It's got a nifty clear holder for the GPS. Perfect for me.
otmaximus
I bit the bullet and bought one mount system, those things are pricey! I may need to figure out a home-made mounting system to mount the Ram holder to.

I did find that the plug didnot expand well enough to keep the thing from moving. so I wrapped a thin layer of rubber fabric around it. It now holds good As for the partnumber, I looked it up on rammount.com http://www.rammount.com/CatalogResults/PartDetails/tabid/63/partid/082065077045066045051052050085/Default.aspx
