Guest aug
Unfortunately, I just picked this VFR up, so I don't have much of a history on it. I'm trying to sort out this idle issue. When cold, it idles at 1.5ish. But once warm, it stays around 3-3.5k consistently. I searched, but couldn't find anyone with similar problem. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Background: 96, 750, 20k miles.
indianagenius
I would adjust the idle adjustment screw once it warms up fully. Cold idle speed is very much choke dependant. Good luck. IG

Guest
Try to adjust the idle to ~1.100-1.200 rpms +-100 when the engine is warm.
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted March 23, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted March 23, 2012 The knob to adjust idle is on the left (just left of the clutch line where it meets the red failing) in this picture
