Guest JeffLaurence
Can I turn the bottom mount on a 929 shock 90 degrees without screwing up the internal valving or adjustments? Thanks Jeff

Guest
How does the bottom adjuster work to vary the damping? Also where would a good place be to start regarding settings? Turns out from closed? Thanks, Jeff
Member Contributer JamieDaugherty Posted April 1, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted April 1, 2012 There is a rod that goes up the center of the piston shaft to the valving piston inside. The end of the rod is tapered to make a needle/seat arrangement. Settings...... on a stock shock I'd start at 2 turns out and adjust from there. Feel free to play around to find something you like.
