timmythecop
Things I noticed: Those straight and long lift-producing wings bending up before take-off. The wheel instead of a stick. Why so high before retracting gear?

Monk
He needs a GPS I don't know why it took so long on the landing gear, but it didn't seem to take a whole football field to get off the ground from a standing start.
Lee 2002
I suspect that the cycle time of the gear is such that it is not raised until a sufficient altitude as to ensure there is enough time available to re-deploy it if a return to base in needed. I also wonder if the gear is gas operated (not electrical, due to weight savings) and number of deployments is limited.
