Guest gchu
Curious how the width of a 6th gen vfr with saddlebags sould compare with a ST1300, FJR1300 and the Concours (1400)... Considering e21 and e360's.... It's such a skinny bike that it makes it look like a really wide load.... See pics of black bikes with the luggage the looks ok... But mine is red.... So if people have pics as well as actual measurements... Id apprciate it...

There's also some pics from the back with the bags.
Member Contributer BonusVFR Posted September 12, 2011 Member Contributer Share Posted September 12, 2011 I am surprised at the 40 inch width...but the bags are big and well integrated. The ST1300 has about a 34 inch beam and the new Connie is just short of a 40 inch bottom.
Member Contributer bryan217 Posted September 13, 2011 Member Contributer Share Posted September 13, 2011 I was just going by what Dave said in the other thread. I rode in to work today. If I can find a tape measure, I'll verify it at lunch time.

Member Contributer bryan217 Posted September 14, 2011 Member Contributer Share Posted September 14, 2011 I couldn't find a tape measure at work yesterday, and by the time I got home last night, it was dark. I'll try to remember today, and see if I can't confirm the 40".
