Guest SteveSvfr750
Hi all. I just picked up a 97 VFR and am looking for a better sounding exhaust but don't want to invest too much money at this time. What's your recommendation for a great sounding slip on for the least money? Thanks all!
SEBSPEED
Buy any old cheap used can on ebay, and have a muffler shop make a midpipe for you.

SLO97VFR
I have a S/S Vance and Hines I used until I got my Carbon one. I really love the sound of them. I think I have an extra bracket too if your interested.
Member Contributer JoeAsheville Posted June 21, 2009 Member Contributer Share Posted June 21, 2009 Best sound, cost no object: Staintune. Listen to a sound clip and then work backwards from that to your preferred price point. Not even the fabled Wolf underseat sounds as good (and I've had both). Member Contributer SAFE-T Posted June 22, 2009 Member Contributer Share Posted June 22, 2009 Used or Scorpion. You might also try and find a stock one to experiment on.
