Member Contributer vfrcapn Posted November 19, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted November 19, 2008 Found this over on the Fireblades.org site. Thought the color combo was nice, would go with the VFR red very well. http://www.fireblades.org/forums/review-my...-fireblade.html
Member Contributer 2FAST4U Posted November 24, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted November 24, 2008 I'm not crazy about the color. Dan painted the SSSA on his Torocharger (see pic below.) I prefer the stock look myself.
Guest yeswill2k
Yeah, I'm the same. I like the look of the stock colour better.
Member Contributer Lobster Posted November 24, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted November 24, 2008 I think it looks cooler than hell! Clearly the guy has too much time and money on his hands, but it looks nice.
Member Contributer AKVFRGUY Posted November 24, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted November 24, 2008 It would look nice on Yellow 5th Gen though. IMO Yes stock red a bit better..

enzed_viffer
Dan painted the SSSA on his Torocharger (see pic below.) I prefer the stock look myself. GIven how ugle the VFR's swingarm and rear hub look, anything that makes it less visible (like Toro's black paint / powdercoat) is a good idea. Member Contributer vfrcapn Posted November 24, 2008 Author Member Contributer Share Posted November 24, 2008 I have the RC51 front end so I was thinking, for me, this color is almost a perfect match to the front forks, see Tom's mutant VF. May tackle it this winter. Toro's looks good but I'd go with a flat black.
