Member Contributer JamieDaugherty Posted September 4, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted September 4, 2008 arno-Where did you get this spacer? I am just sourced a 929 shock for my 4th gen, and am planning to do this swap. The spacer looks cleaner than using a pipe collar, I like it! I believe that is for the lower clevis to mount is brackets instead of the needle bearing, not for the upper mount.

flyguyeddy
jamie, you can revalve 929 shocks to different springs? how much would u charge to do that to my previously "jamie'd" shock? i would like to try and sort out the preload stuff on my own. and i would like to run a 19kg/mm spring. (preload to be done with stock preload adjuster and some custom stuff)
FinnRC36
Got my Jamied 929 shock mounted last week on my '91 and rode her a bit yesterday, feels awesome! With the VTR1000F Frankenwiffer front end and CBR 918RR brakes it's a sweet ride. Very comfortable and fast. Thanks again Jamie!
