Member Contributer Silver#788 Posted July 29, 2007 Member Contributer Share Posted July 29, 2007 It hooks straight to the battery/ fusebox POS+ and NEG-. You will have to power it on and off with the button this way. You can also hook it to a relay off of your tail light. Would one of you electrical engineer type guys speak up here. Mine came wit both a connector for straight to the battery and a cig. plug type as well.
Tightwad
Powering via a Relay is easy, a 4-prong relay will tie in perfectly to the taillights, and the wires run right next to the battery so you can split the loom there and tapp into I believe it is a Green w/White wire. There should be 3 of them in there.
