Member Contributer rbertalotto Posted July 2, 2007 Member Contributer Share Posted July 2, 2007 I have a garage that needs to be occupied by a car and a motorcycle lift. The lift is too tall for the car to simply drive over, so this weekend I embarked on a little project....... Read about it here: http://public.fotki.com/Rbertalotto/moto_p...cycle-lift-ins/

Guest 4stroke
That is excellent! A way to have your lift and keep your needed space. Kinda like having your cake and eating it too! Nice write up with photos. Enjoy that - job well done.
Member Contributer chris2992 Posted July 2, 2007 Member Contributer Share Posted July 2, 2007 Wow, nothing like a complete installation of a lift. I guess I'm lucky that my wife drives a Blazer and can just park over mine. Nice.

Veefer800Canuck
Very nice. And if you should ever move, you can take the lift out, and pour more concrete to fill the hole left behind.

Lee 2002
Great job. A co-worker of mine has a very similar set-up.... Good idea on the crane you used to get the concrete out. Well done all-in-all. You must not live where it snows? That would soon be a nice lake here in the winter time without some kind of drainage. Member Contributer rbertalotto Posted July 3, 2007 Author Member Contributer Share Posted July 3, 2007 Yes it snows, but the car that parks over the lift never goes out in the snow......In fact, it's in storage all winter.......Thanks
