Scottyrich4 Posted June 11, 2023 Share Posted June 11, 2023 So working slowly in the 94 and today I discovered what appears to be a computer fan zip tied over the rectifier on the right side. Looks like a cut into the wiring harness for power. Question is why. Obviously someone thought it got too hot but…. Looking for help. second question fan doesn’t work but there is a non-factory starter switch with a wire just hanging. Member Contributer mello dude Posted June 11, 2023 Member Contributer Share Posted June 11, 2023 Adding a fan over the R/R used to be a good upgrade, but with newer tech MOSFET and recent series R/Rs, it's not really needed. Is your bike still running the OEM R/R? Suggest doing a voltage check, idle and 5000rpm. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
