DaveC61
continuing my dig through my recently acquired 2002, making sure its all "ship shape" before riding off into the sunrise! have now found a wire connector that is not plugged into anything... its a 2P with Green and Brown wires, tucked underneath the right hand fuse box... my wiring diagram shows this configuration going to the fuel pump, obviously a long way away from the fuse box, but I did lift the tank and have a look, the Green and Brown wires at the Fuel Pump look normal to me. This bike did have an alarm installed and then removed by POs, maybe this plug was related to a fuel pump cut off as part of the alarm? but these do look like factory wires not after-market add-ons as they have the silver bands on them... any ideas what else they might be for? I can't see anything else close by that they might have been plugged into... thanks!
Member Contributer DannoXYZ Posted May 14, 2023 Member Contributer Share Posted May 14, 2023 Is that same connector as fuel-pump? Test function of wires: grn - connected to chassis-ground? brn - has power at same time as fuel-pump wire?
