It would be a 5 if the tankbag was off ;-).

No, it should be a 5, but then there would be no place to go for future pics.

One outstanding pic there Burma!

Central Arizona, late January 05, just outside of the old mining town of Oatman, AZ. I'd been dodging the rains all day and when I saw this patch of sunlight (and rainbow) in the distance, I just knew I had to have a picture.

I wish I could say that I carefully planned and lined up all the background geography for maximum dramatic effect...but 'taint so. There was simply a wide shoulder on the other side of the road that looked inviting at that moment...so I stopped and did some quicky lining-up...and fired off three shots. I'm certainly not Gods gift to photography, so it's just lucky that one of the shots turned out well.

Within 10 minutes of taking this shot, I was riding in a cold rain...but it just didn't really matter. I knew I'd spend some time riding in the rain on this trip, I was prepared for it, so you just slow down a little and enjoy it.

Best regards and thanks for your votes!

Nice Pic,

I guess it does rain in the desert. I'm in LV and I've got watered here a many of days. Haven't seen a rainbow yet...

Feels strange writing to you now, Fred. I tried to work out what I wanted to say. But I can't come up with anything.

Some of the things you said to me will stay with me forever.
