    My thoughts exactly and (for me) a solution for a non-existing problem (missing gearshifts). Must be my previous years' experiencing clunky BMW and agricultural Moto Guzzi gearboxes... :-)

    Hej hej!

     

    I see you have not logged on since May, so you will not have read my plan to ride through the countries at the Baltic Sea. NL GY DK SW FI EST LAT LITH PL GY NL. Camping where possible/if it is not raining :-)

    Leaving on 31st july or 1st august, I first head to Landskrona to visit a former colleague/friend who moved back to Sweden. Then towards Stockholm for the ferry to Turku on the 6th or so. Spend a few days with keny from the forum, and tgen on to Tallinn

    My aim is not to ride motorways, so any suggestions are welcone, if you like we can meet up too.

    As she approaches 100,000km, it was time to put her to the test. And have the AF checked, because last year I had the carbs serviced (by someone else) and I never felt things were perfect on fueling. I can balance the carbs myself but for the rest you need proper tools (and parts....) And how does she sound?? vvvrrroooaaappp.mp4

    As not to have redslut throw a tantrum "you give that puma more TLC than me.." I've set out to do a full service on the front forks. Changed oil over the years, replaced the OEM springs but new a complete strip. The seals never leaked (18+ years, almost 100,000km) so that is OEM quality. but since I can, decide to get some SKF's They come with an extra spacer, unclear if I need this, I will do some measurements if the dealer doesnot reply The bushings ("ush ush in the bush") are due though... one looks ok (but will be swapped) but this one is farked Shine on, you crazy diamond copper

    Today the damage assessor (hired by the opposing insurer) and my mc dealer staff member came to a for me very very satisfactory conclusion; avoiding an "economic write-off". Thus not having to go through the process of having to wait for brokers to bid on redslut and then me having you buy her back at the highest bid.

    Single lane road with passing places. Van in front of me comes to a stop just past a passing place, I stop ~6 feet behind him, to his left. I can see his mirror, but also the oncoming car Next I see his reverse lights coming on. I give him some Freeway Blaster and shuffle back Not fast enough, but at least he did stop and didn't run over me.... The tap was just enough to tip me over. managed to lay her down gentrly. Side case took the weight and got scuffed, as did the mirror and a Pazzo lever. The insurance companies may now sort it out between them....

    Been riding a few dykes hard, some serious blowing going on (cross winds). But hey! a man has to eat too!!!
