Thank you. Totally spaced this one out. This is my problem.

I just installed a new OEM Honda tensioner and it's leaking oil from the top of the tensioner. It rushes out the top of the tensioner when the bike is running. Could I have poked a hole in the tensioner when I was winding the new one up to install the key? It's the only thing I can think of. Could I have gotten a defective tensioner? Any input is appreciated.
