VFROr/Jed13 , It varies per exhaust , I also have a shortened and re-packed Akrapovic which is a different process then the Two Brothers , the Two Brothers is fairly straight forward , I wrapped the can with masking tape to protect from scratching , drilled out the rivets on the inlet end , pull the bottom piece out and separated it from the can , then I cut off about 3.5 inches off the outer can and the inner baffle with a band saw , then I loose fit the pipe back together so I could still take it back apart as I made adjustments to the packing material for sound . Rule of thumb is how ever much outer can you remove , you have to remove the same amount of internal baffle , if its not a Two Brothers DO NOT just cut straight thru the can with a band saw as it may not be the same . If your not comfortable or done anything like this before you might not want to tackle it , or I'd at least watch some DIY or How To videos , you might also need to get some stainless rivets the same size as originally in your can .

Thanks , It's reflective rim tape with Moto Inkz rim graphics that I did and overlay on top of Looks great. That's about how much I cut my 2Bro M5 can too. The only reason I did mine was to fit under the panniers. Me too , I liked the view of the rear tire and single sided swingarm but still wanted to use my panniers as well

I reupholstered my seat with a Saddlemen seat cover , cut down a Two Brothers exhaust , after playing around with various amounts of packing , wrapping it tight or loose till I got the sound I've been looking for . I'm finally loving the 1200 the way I've been wanting to since I got her .

I bought a used Two Brothers High mount , cut it down and shortened it , then took out some packing and played around with different combinations till I got the sound I was looking for , finally happy with the sound now , the 7th Gen VFR always sounded so anemic .

Tire Mileage & Combos - Different Front & Rear?

Just my 2 cents and thought I'd share but I cant say enough good about the Battlax BT-023GT I'm over 4000 mi and going strong on my set of Bridgestone BT-023GT , it's a Sport Touring Specific tire reinforced for heavier ST bikes and it's Canyon Chaser's High Mileage Leader , here's their review: http://www.canyonchasers.net/reviews/tires/bridgestone/bt023.php -
Clutch Slipping, Popping Out Of Gear
VFRKEN replied to luvtoleanit's topic in Seventh Generation VFR's
Not experiencing much in the way of false neutrals but I seem to be developing what I'll refer to as a "sticky" gearbox , mostly up shifts from 3rd-4th , 4th-5th and 5th-6th , occasionally on some downshifts too . It takes some added finesse to get it into gear , just changed oil and filter without much if any change , going to see what happen throughout the rest of the summer and make a decision on what to do then .... Its a 2010 early VIN Anyone else having an a similar issue with "Sticky" shifting ? (not trying to highjack ) -
Ok Great !! I have to imagine its going to be the last click with tension on the adjuster knob but even better to know for sure , thank you !!!! Much appreciated

I think you're saying to visually look at the top of the shock , I'm assuming there's a something resembling a conventional adjuster where in the past I would put a spanner wrench to adjust preload , but in this case is done remotely ? and I should be able to confirm when I've reached the "Min" position ?

Didn’t see this post anywhere prior and think I know the answer but need reassured ...... When stated either in the user manual or recommended suspension settings "Clicks form minimum setting" (Stock Adjuster) Would this be from the "last" click ? OR "The last click with any detectable tension" against the adjuster ? I can probably go another 8 or more "Clicks" past the point where there's any noticeable tension left against the adjuster Can someone clarify this for me , I've never had experience with an adjuster that went so far past any detectable tension on the adjuster Thanks in advance !! Ken
