  1. ...............dirt no extra charge.
  2. Go to ebay and get a tasty underseat exhaust and use one and have a spare. They are super small diameter and still not too loud. I dont know what bike this was from or where the second one is, but I love it
  3. this reminded me of my trailer restraint system
  4. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-Honda-Other-/182391890476?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2a7767622c:g:0zwAAOSw2xRYSs3F&item=182391890476
  5. or go with the guy who started the whole thing
  6. if you want that, go with the simpler, better version, that is more dirt oriented. Less than half the cash too.
  7. howz about a Ulysses? It keeps it american for the theme and they are piratically given away in today's market
  8. I was kinda hoping you would choose this:
  9. in case anyone wants to search for these bags, they are Givi E28
  10. they even look good when you go full tour
  11. I think these look fabu on a fifth gen. Alas, they dont make them any more
  12. and you will have to get used to all that racket !!
  13. also, if it has stock sprockets, you MUST change that. The thing is geared for like 240MPH or something. WAY TOO TALL. At least you have the SP2 improved injection that takes away a lot of the snatch. http://www.rc51.org/gearing.htm Sencond must do mod is the shock linkage. Must be done. http://www.rc51.org/link.htm You already have a good back shock. I hope yer front end has been done. If not, that is number 3. http://www.shop.kyleusa.com/RC51-Fork-Rework-Options-RC51-Fork-Rework.htm My bike has an HRC 1/6 turn throttle on it and it hasnt bothered me enough to change it.
  14. some stuff you will need, Leon: Take off the fairings. You may be suprised that the cases say HRC, not Honda You will need this 1 liter Ducati eater picture:
  15. I have used Pilot power 2TC on my RC51. 120/70 front and 190/55 rear. Most owners call RC51s "Piggies" because they favor stability over flickableness, so the added height of the 55 profile really helps on the turn in. I have tried both and prefer the 55 by far. The only problem is the 190/55 is always the most expensive tyre in the catalog. I am pretty sure the 190/55 did not exist when this bike first came out, so the manual specs the 50.
  16. DUDE ! That is soo groovy. When you get new tyres do yourself a favor: Opt for the 190/55 rear. It costs more, but it handles sooo much better.
  17. My brother owns a motorbike repair shop. New era Triumphs are always there with odd problems.
  18. what made the police FLH so comfy for me was the foot, butt, hand triangle was perfect. Also the seat on a police bike is an ass cradling solo seat that has its own suspension.
  19. and believe it or not, this is a very capable machine. Also the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden
  20. dont count out the Guzzi Norge
  21. and on a side note. I just got an extra pigtail for my heated vest and I am now looking for Harley heated grips. (since I am one of the new guys to be trained, I don't get the full Girbings gear the other guys have)
  22. I have found that when one rides in the very, very cold and it is rainy, that you cannot put any heat in your brake rotors. I road last year in the rain just above freezing and the braking distance was easily doubled. It took me a moment to figure it out.
  23. Does work count? Because I will be riding all night long during the Inauguration.
