Thanks for the comments. The shot was taken near Big Bear lake (Google maps link), during one of our weekend runs w/ shaynej. The photography was done by fellow VFR member, michaelf3. He was kind enough to take action shots during our ride which came out superb (thanks, michaelf3!). It's one of my favorite riding photos. -

The important thing is that you're alive and able to recover. A higher power was definitely looking over your shoulder. Give the scenario you were in, and as you pointed out, it could have been so much worse if there was oncoming traffic. Your Rcbvfr is one-of-a kind. I'm sure with your perseverance and attention to detail, you will fix it to like-new condition and it will be ready to ride in the near future.

Yes- it's Angeles Crest. Amazing to think that the tunnel began construction in 1949. The tunnel has been acoustically tuned for our V4's. :+1: Check it out on Google Maps....VROOM! -
