Member Contributer SAFE-T 5 Posted May 24, 2006 How would you say the VTR compares with the VFR ? I've always liked that bike. Quote Link to comment
wera803 254 Posted May 25, 2006 The picture was taken going north up the south side of Blood Mountain (right near the top). The VTR is a great street bike. The carbs make it a little more finicky than the injection of the VFR, but the torque is terrific. The VTR is a '99 and has 30,000 miles on it. That really isn't a lot, but I haven't put many miles on it in the past two years. If I didn't have the VFR, the VTR would probably have over 45,000 miles on it. If I had to choose only one bike to own, it would probably be the VFR. It is great for commuting and riding 2-up with the wife. I've thought about selling the VTR a couple of times, but then I take it for a ride and come back with a grin from ear to ear. :D Quote Link to comment
