Member Contributer DougFromIndy 5 Posted August 15, 2008 That place is special to me as I "raced" a hare scrambles (135 miles long) starting in Pioche, NV and ending in Caliente, NV. It was a long time ago after just buying my 92 KTM d/xc 550 and great memories. I stayed in an old hotel, Hot Springs where you could sit in a giant cement tub and turn on hot mineral water right out of the mountain. What I great trip, rode in Utah for a few days, drove all the way from Indiana. I think the MT on the right side of pic was a very steep downhill at the end of the race/finish line. I have an old VHS tape with racers who went pro in their early days, was a very scenic trip for me. Great to ride out on a dirtbike there, Doug Quote Link to comment
