Member Contributer SirDoh Posted June 18, 2021 Member Contributer Posted June 18, 2021 This aught to be a sticky or its really obvious and I don't know where to look. What are the Stock springs and oil in VFRs? Are they progressive? Unless I know where I start, how do I know what to fit in order to move in the right direction. Mine is a 2009 6th gen but everyone must have this question. Quote
Member Contributer Thumbs Posted June 18, 2021 Member Contributer Posted June 18, 2021 There’s a YSS spring table in the download section Quote
Member Contributer SirDoh Posted June 18, 2021 Author Member Contributer Posted June 18, 2021 There is a table but its all Aprillia data, and it doesn't answer the original question which was about the base/OEM spring. Quote
Member Contributer Thumbs Posted June 18, 2021 Member Contributer Posted June 18, 2021 Have a look at Brooks Barn, you’ll have to go through the models but the type and spring length are there The Hagon numbers aren’t reliable as some dispense with the spacer tube https://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/fork-springs/yss-fork-springs/?manufacturer=60 Quote
Member Contributer DannoXYZ Posted June 18, 2021 Member Contributer Posted June 18, 2021 I think stock rate is 0.85 kg/mm. Seems most Japanese bikes have suspension tuned for 65kg riders. Quote
