Deservedly so.  Scrolling through the list, it occurred to me how pleasing to the eye most of those bikes of that generation are - even if they're not a brand I particularly lust after.  They were designed with proportion and flowing lines that blend seamlessly with function.   Contrast that to the embedded video of the 2020 bikes.  It reminds me of an old cliche - "If I had a dog that looked like that, I'd shave its butt and teach it to walk backwards".   I can still recall walking in to a Honda dealer in 1998 (now out of business) and sitting there next to each other were the then new 5th gen VFR and a Blackbird.  I desperately wanted both, but could only swing one. It took a while, but a year later I ended up with a '99 which I still have today.  I agree with the author - the build quality of those gen VFR's was superb, the styling classic and all 'round a great machine for the ages.  There's nothing like it out there today.
