But the job is not only a fork change but a complete brake system rework and delink.... 😎
Member Contributer Tirso Posted October 15, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted October 15, 2020 This thread is a good place to start, many options exist. It comes down to: 1) how much do you want to spend 2) how comfortable do you feel using motorcycle parts as legos to built what you want. Sometimes, you dremel/drill/grind to make it all fit. Sometimes you need a custom made triple. Yes, you have to delink the system. Forks used determine front caliper, master cylinder, rotors, wheel, fender. For rear caliper you can: 1) reuse the stock rear caliper with a delinked system, but will need another readily available Nissin 14mm master cylinder or 2) Use a modern Brembo rear caliper https://www.vfrdiscussion.com/index.php?/forums/topic/94916-5th-gen-rear-brake-adapter-interest-check/ Good luck
