Member Contributer Captain 80s Posted April 29, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted April 29, 2020 Time for tires and I had an extra set of 1000R wheels from the wheel swap 1986 VF1000R project. So I decided to restore a complete set for a swap over. All the discs were masked and trimmed so even the grooves, edges and vents got new paint. Gave the sprocket the same color treatment as the rear disc. The bike is also getting some braided lines and some front suspension tweaks when these wheels go on. Member Contributer vfrcapn Posted April 30, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted April 30, 2020 That is just gorgeous and the attention to detail amazing. Really like the polished stuff like the upper and clipons. Makes me miss my R.
