Member Contributer Dutchy Posted July 17, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted July 17, 2016 Hello Rybo, Welcome here! That to me looks like the connector between the stator (or dynamo or altenator as some call it) and the voltage regulator (converting the ac into dc). Do a search for "the drill" if you own (and know how to use) a multimeter. Tell us some more about yourself!
Member Contributer Kel Posted July 18, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted July 18, 2016 Is there a more classic issue than than this? Cut the plug out and solder the wires directly, doesn't matter which wires go where. Take a reading at the battery to verify it's charging...mid 13's at idle to mid 14's at 2krpm.
