Lint
The P.O. put one on my 99, but incorrectly. Unfortunately, the Comp.Werkes directions are hard to follow. Can anyone help? How it looks now. How it's supposed to look. If anyone has this, could you please take some higher res pics of how it looks installed, preferably from underneath as well? Thanks
Lint
I see that I am supposed to remove the rear cowl completely and I guess Dremel some plastic away. I guess I'll try that tomorrow.

Lint
Oooohkay, does anyone have anything useful to add besides insults?
Member Contributer Kingmdm Posted May 12, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted May 12, 2016 Sorry Lint. I ride with the world's oldest living squid. He's 75 and the fist thing he does when he gets a new bike is cut the rear feder off and put decals on. Gotta love him.
Member Contributer Ultimatevfr Posted May 12, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted May 12, 2016 Lint from looking at the photos and being familier with my sons stock 99' , it looks like that that mounts directly to the bottom of the tall frame by drilling out holes in the square factory tube rail. jackvfr
On the write up on eBay it's says the frame never requires to be drilled. If done properly this tail tidy looks to be sweet.
