Lint
OK, on the 6th Gen headlight lens, it appears that there was intended another light, judging by the way the head light lens looks. I am wondering what this may be for, as it's on every 6th gen I've seen, but I have never found an explanation of it. This is an image I found online. If you look at the bottom of the black piece between the headlights, it appears that there should be some sort of running light etc there, if memory serves, there may be portion of the headlight assembly that looks like it could hold a light. Am I over thinking this? This schematic from Bike Bandit shows what looks like a bulb holder in the back of the headlight assembly, near where #16 is pointing too.Does anyone know the answer to this mystery? Member Contributer JZH Posted March 2, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted March 2, 2016 Just like you guessed. Non-US models often have a "position light" aka sidelight built into the headlight assembly, but most US-spec Hondas do not. One that does is the ST1300. Not sure why that is the case. But it meands you can buy the ST1300's 2-bulb harness, snip one off and give one to a friend! Ciao,
