Anybody Swap Their Sprocket Frequently?

So I really like the 45 tooth rear sprocket for around town, but I'd like to get my cruising RPM back under 6K for longer trips. Anybody here frequently change between the 43T and 45T rear sprocket? If so do you notice any issues with sprocket or chain wear? Is chain length an issue later in the life of the chain?

Personally I wouldn't bother, you're only talking about 500 rpm difference. Mine shows 5500 rpm for 70 mph and it was 5,000 rpm but I've noticed no difference in cruising mileage. Running a steady 65-75 mph I've gotten around 45 mpg, which is better that I got with the stock setup.

I think it's a fair amount of hassle for minimal return. JMO of course.
