Member Contributer SamW Posted June 10, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted June 10, 2014 I have done a Bosch L-Jet to a Digital Go-Tech (much like MegaSquirt) FI system on one of my Alfas. It combines both the injection and the ignition into a single system, which I think is what you would want if you plan on doing all the mods. Starting with a 5th Gen FI intake and injectors might be a good starting point, I think that would take care of your throttle positon sensor and MAP sensor issues plus a place to mount the injectors. Make sure what ever system you choose will also work with the sensor for your timing and RPM, plus you are going to need to mount and engine coolant temperature sensor somewhere. I think it would be a fun project, you are correct in that the tuning is much easier on FI, plus if you can get some dyno time, you can really fine tune it and see where the power is. Good luck!
