Member Contributer yycviffer Posted July 2, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 2, 2013 Hey Guys, I have started noodling with the front suspension on the bike. Have springs in there now and am thinking of F3 internals giving me the rebound adjustment option with some gold valves. I have done numerous searches in the suspension forum and 5th gen forum and can't find much (other then the post about the fork tubes). I read in one thread that HS had done this to his old bike but have not been able to find it. Anyone able to confirm or deny any of this thinking or point me in the correct thread direction? Thanks
Member Contributer fastrc46 Posted July 2, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 2, 2013 I did the mod to mine. It's an easy change if you're not afraid to work on the forks. It was worth the effort. Not a huge change but enough. Sorry... can't help with the thread though.

Member Contributer Rush2112 Posted July 2, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 2, 2013 I looked for the Slammer thread and I couldn't find it either. That was what I referenced when I did mine... nice work ggathagan. I agree, it is not a hard job; although, I did see a big improvement since I changed springs and both rebound and compression valves during the swap. Good luck with the mod!
