  1. I've had this kit on my 98 for a few years now. Not too difficult to install and well worth the money and effort. Not that the stock arrangement is bad at all. But this makes something that's excellent.... Incredible! Just wave your left foot at the shift lever and a perfect shift happens! ... Quicker more positive shifts.

2013 Americade dates, Lake George, New York... New this year the Expo now runs from the 1st to the 8th. The main rally is from the 4th to the 8th. www.tourexpo.com for more details.
  7. Got mine! ... Thanks Dan! Great quality product ... now it just needs to warm up so I can put them on.
  8. Seeing as they likely will be the last... I better get a pair. You can add me to the list. My PAIR system has been removed for years, but this will clean things up very nicely.
  9. So do you use the Pine-Sol streight or do you dilute it? The carbs on the Nighthawk are in need of a good cleaning and thought I would try it.

  11. See, now this was helpful. I thought the 8 spokers were 17x5. Now I know. Might have to look for one to make the switch.

  15. Wow!! That's........That's........Really original  After that nice comment you made about my Staintune over the weekend........I'm not really sure how to take this??
  16. I did something similar. I removed more of the fender and re-mounted the plate light where the reflector is. Some minor drilling is required but easy to do.
  17. I might be Bill Mayer, but I don't think so. I have one, and I know the guys from spending a day a the Ojai factory this spring. They have big bucket cores like that, but I don't think they'd make one for a VFR that wide. Who knows, though, they will build you whatever you want! When they made mine, they actually started with a core that was shaped much like that, set it down in my seat and then carved most of it away, then glued other pieces in and carved more until they had the shape I wanted. I should do a post showing pictures of the process. It looks like it would be comfy, but boy is that butt-ugly or what? It's a Russel Day Lond\g saddle. A lot of BMW, ST1100/1300 riders use them. http://www.day-long.com/ And, yes, they are ugly...function over form. I knew someone here would know. I thought maybe they were trying to match the front turn signals or something. No, I don't want one. It is way ugly.
  18.  Now that's funny!!!
  19. Ran across this on e-bay a while back. I've never seen a seat like this before. It must be custom made for the Iron Butt. Any thoughts? b487_12.jpg 5266_12.jpg
