Managed to lower the fairing some.

I also plan on doing a r1 subframe. Bidding in some seats first then subframe when I get back from vacation. I plan on under tail exhaust.

Lookin' good!

And if that's not a perfect candidate for one of Seb's clear covers, I don't know what is.

This is a budget build or I would. I'm only 1300$ into the bike and don't want to go over $1500 with stuff still on my to do list.. Serb does great work.

Been a while, I took off the wave head light and put in some hid fog lights. This allowed me to lower the fairing more. Starting to look like the fairings belong on the bike. Also got it legal and put on s new rear tire, and brake reservoir delete.

Also got these to start mocking up

None if this is still final, body work and seat are all in mock up phase, once I have all my parts on I will finalize all brackets and strengthen fairings with fiberglass etc..

Thanks for those looking. I bought the bike for 600. Fairings 350. Head lights free. Tires 250. Seat and subframe 100. Fork seals gel battery and brake light 50. Total this far $1350 for my version of a vfr updated bike with only 12k miles on the engine.

Been driving it daily. I'm very happy. Almost done then I can get back to my bikes that are not ready for street. So nice to have a running bike so I can work on other vehicles and still drive

Some more pics, rewired so both lights always on, made a simple exhaust hanger, painted the helmet to match. The panel under the tank is the old seat plastic. Going to make a new one later. I also have to make a new place for the fuel pump as it is only zip tied right now.

Did some more work.. She now has passenger pegs and a new exhaust mount.. Used a 90 and a 45 bend then wrapped it up so nobody burns themselves.

Need a close up!! It now is a bit too dark to see detail

Here you go. A quick video walk through, keep in mind this is a rough version of the bike that will be reworked in winter as I drive it daily.

Cheers!

Not sold on the wrapping, maybe it is the color of it (dark/greasy/dirty looking). Does this stuff come in other colors?

If so, maybe do a little photoshop to see how it would look.

Like the way the panels seems to be made for the VFR, I think they "flow" well.

Thanks.. It is dirty... Still has all the dust from trimming rear seat plastic to fit around it and haven't washed it yet. To busy riding it :D
