Guest Bigfosty
Hit a deep pothole doing about 40 today and apparently it caused my left rear blinker to disappear. Some sort of voodoo magic pothole I think. It looks like there was some bracketing holding it all together, can I replace just the blinker, or is there a bracket I am going to need as well? Heres a picture, like I said the entire blinker popped out, not just the lense. Also, the whole tailight situation back there seems really loose, is this normal for everyone else? I noticed it a while ago, like the fairings aren't held together very well?
Guest
Don't know , but I would like to know if an amber lens would fit a Gen 3 (1990). Don't mean to highjack, just curious. GL, Jeff
Member Contributer trjerm Posted September 7, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 7, 2012 pretty sure their secured w/ a screw thats accessed thru the hole below you missing turn signal, hopefully the mounting tab didn't break off as well. Guest
I think the mounting tab did break off, I don't see anything in there for it to mount to. I 'll have to take a closer look.

Guest
I had that happen to my left tail light too on my 93. Broke the little mounting tab off. Luckily, it held by the wire. I ended up putting a little fiberglass over the broken tab area and then epoxied the light back in. Cosmetically no visible damage.
