Member Contributer VFR Capt.Bob Posted July 16, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted July 16, 2012 I upgraded my rear shock to an elka with correct spring rate then changed fork oil wt. And fork springs to match. I wasn't happy at all with the suspension until I did full racetech comp and reb and had race tech set it up to match the rear shock and my riding style. Night and day especially when sport riding or track days. Just do it and the sooner the better.
Guest
Would it be advisable if I just installed the RT Gold Valves without changing the springs?
Baileyrock
Would it be advisable if I just installed the RT Gold Valves without changing the springs? Depends on how much you weigh! If it's around 140-150 lbs you might be OK, but the springs are the foundation of suspension building. BR
