nedhills
Can you get an after market fuel pump for the vf1000f. could I use a vf750f pump or a vf1000r pump. also I have heard that there are some car pumps that would work with the bike? Any suggestion?

Member Contributer Kel Posted April 29, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted April 29, 2012 Some have had success with these... http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Mr-Gasket-2-to-3-5-PSI-42-GPH-electric-fuel-pump-for-import-carburetors/_/N-25jp?itemIdentifier=732036_0_0_ I think a carbed Civic pump has been used but any 2-3 psi pump should work. Member Contributer JZH Posted May 5, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted May 5, 2012 FACET makes several different ones (I have one on my 3rd-gen--to replace the dead Mitsubishi), so make sure that the pressure is not too high (you don't need much--the engines run on gravity-feed pretty well). FACET are sold by Aircraft Spruce, among many others. Ciao,
