Member Contributer rdguy Posted March 3, 2011 Member Contributer Share Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) Yes I do! If anyone wants to try this I can make a pair for you without the painting and then you can do whatever you want with the light install. I think Rivcyko painted the back half of his black so when the lights came on they only showed forward and not backward. To the original Poster...nice job. Hi Larry, Are yours tranparent under the paint? I'd sort of assumed the paint was a finish coat on opaque plastic. If it's transparent under there I may do some polishing on mine... The Phantom
I'd be inclined to leave at least a bit of the clear acrylic visible to the rider - might help for those occasions when one forgets to turn their indicator off...
Member Contributer AnikMankar Posted March 4, 2011 Author Member Contributer Share Posted March 4, 2011 Hi Thanks for such a good response. I had thought about adding the signal to this but not too sure how it will look. The existing signal and these are too close - might end up looking like a Christmas tree :laughing6-hehe: Since the light is flushed/frosted it does not bother me. I will have to take it out again to give it a proper finish - still struggling to get a good frosted look.
