Is anyone making spacer plates for a 4th Gen Shock Swap?

I would like to install a 929 Shock on my 4th gen to gain some adjust ability and maybe even score a used Ohlins unit meant for a 929. Is anyone making the spacer plates required? I am not a machinist and I wouldn't know what measurements to give a machinist or what material to use.

If anyone can make them, quote me a price please.

I got away with swapping in a 929 shock in fairly easily on my 4th. You can break the upper shock mount bolt free of the bracket that bolts to the eye of the shock. Then you just need a longer bolt and an appropriate sized spacer. Interestingly enough, if you have one of the dog-bone links from the 929 shock, you can just chop one end off and it is the right length and has the exact right inner diameter to be used as a spacer. Have put about 10k on it so far, no issues. I also just picked up a Penske shock meant for a 929 for $350.

Well, I got my rear shock modified by JamieDaugherty, He is on here (VFRD) here is a link to his web page DM. Looks awesome and fit great. I had him do the works while he had my shock (rebuild, revalve, correct spring for my weight).

Here is some pictures to show you what it looks like.

I hope this might help you out some.

It's really frustrating that the long 4th gen rear shock do not have a plug and play equivalent out there from other bikes, but don't these spacer/extender plates adversely affect the function of the rear suspension as it might shorten the stroke of the swingarm with the shorter shocks??. Wouldn't you end up bottoming out earlier with these shorter shocks??
