Man I miss her soooo bad! It was a real blast to build. This was the first time I put the front faring for test fit with the tail section. Man it went through some changes.
  2. That was a fun day. Brian (a.k.a. VF-1R a.k.a. IRONMAN) is a good leadman and good with the camera. Not a bad guy all in all. I really do miss those rides.
  3. Well, I got my rear shock modified by JamieDaugherty, He is on here (VFRD) here is a link to his web page DM. Looks awesome and fit great. I had him do the works while he had my shock (rebuild, revalve, correct spring for my weight). Here is some pictures to show you what it looks like. I hope this might help you out some. Travis
  4. That was a good day of riding. Brian (VF-1R) knows a lot of good roads around here, he also not bad with the camera.
  5. Looks great Doug. I also like the 05 06 front, (the black directs the air right at the oil cooler and looks almost OEM) looks a little cleaner and flows better with the lines. Plus I love the new side covers, I still have not messed with my side panels yet. I wish we could get both our bikes together sometime for some pictures. I thank you again for your help on my build. Travis

Who Dat? The Man, The Myth, The legend!.... Brian (VF-1R):laughing6-hehe:
  7. I asked him about that Sunday when you guys were gearing up to leave. Even thought it might be a different brake pad compound between front and rear. Says he has the same brake pads front and rear but all I see is clean front wheel and brake dusty rear... I wonder if it is the oil he uses. :laughing6-hehe: I really do NOT know why the rear wheel always gets dirtier then the front. I do use the front brakes a lot. I am NO Brian or Doug, but I do carry some speed and use the front brakes 90% of the time. (I am still learning to ride). I guess I need to do some track days. I will look more into it.
  8. Don't really need to use brakes when following a BMW.:laughing6-hehe:
  9. Thanks, and Veefer800Cancuk is correct and he did add the link to build. I used 8 different Honda bikes for this build. 3rd gen VFR, 4th gen VFR, 5th gen VFR, 6th Gen VFR, CBR 929, CBR F4i, CBR 600RR, and CBR 1000RR any questions, just PM me. It was a blast to build.
  10. Thanks, it was a fun build. Thanks again to the Brian's, Doug, and Nicole for letting me tag along. It was my first T-Mac and LOVED it. The roads were AWESOME!!!!!:laughing6-hehe:
