There are a lot of sport bikes and sport tourers, but they kind of get swallowed up by the cruisers. No big deal, but letting people know in the PNW and BC area. Anacortes is very close to BC border. Let me know if anyobody is up for it and I just might go too. I like oysters and motorcycles, posers, not so much. Worth a look at least once or twice. Fun watching endless streams of bikes rolling into town.

Been there once, you can climb up a ladder in main street to take pictures of the thousands of bikes, pretty cool.

Member Contributer The mailman Posted September 24, 2010 Member Contributer Share Posted September 24, 2010 I stayed in Anacortes last weekend and they are excited to see the bikes coming. Wet was the word for Fidalgo and Whidbey Island but we still managed to have a great time. We took the ferry from Keystone to Port Townsend and things improved by the time we got to Long Beach. Fun area wet or dry.

choco
I think they should make this a two day event. Saturday was gorgeous, Sunday wet. I'm sticking home. Oh well, next week looks to be warm and sunny again. Running out of days for riding.
