Guest those1 Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 I have owned my 94 vfr 750 for about three years now and finally have some money to play with. When I bought my bike it had an airtech upper with some decent fog lights for headlights. I was missing its side fairings and the tail plastics are cracked in the usual spots. It also came with a two brothers carbon fiber racing exhaust. Since I have owned it (owner #2) I was able to replace the fog lights with some new projector fog lights with led halo rings on the outside (for effect). I have also replaced the chain and sprockets with factory spec but light weight ones. The original owner also found the original headlight and missing plastics stored away in his garages attic but due to the bike getting knocked over its in rough shape. My question is can you use original or any other after market plastics with an airtech upper. the mids the have are rather pricey so if i could find some used say cbr mids i thought that would help with a custom look. As far as the tail plastics go is my best option getting the plastic repair kit from the urethane supply company. Im pretty handy with tools (willing to attempt to use them :P) so any advise tips things like that you guys have for me would be awesome. The can be made to fit together better, but not by me :laughing6-hehe: I still have a great set of lowers, just need new mids & uppers although I could piece together what I have...Maybe over winter... If you keep an eye out, you can usually find sets of track plastic for CBR's for about $200, that would make a nice little update for the bike.
