um...

just for the record, after we leave Big Bear Lake, we will NOT be going off-road to Running Springs. Google maps did it that way :warranty: and I couldn't get it to straighten out. So, no need for knobbies, we're staying on the 18.

Hey Shayne,

Still here, believe it or not! Work picked up a bit, so I've been playin it out!

Count me in. FYI, the 330 from Running springs to Highland is closed indefinately.

May or may not be open by then. Probably have to stay on 18, or the 38 to get back down.

I'm up for another BONSAI run down to SoCa. I will try to get the day off.

Thank you Shayne for setting up another run even if I don't make it.

Wow Shayne, long time no speak! Count me in on this one. Let me know if you're gonna do a pre-run as I know you like to do. I don't really want to ride with you, I just want to eat at Neo's Burgers!! HA HA!! Just kidding Bro! Good to hear from you again and thanks for organizing this ride. :laughing6-hehe:

I ran up to Crestline today to check the route. It had snowed this past wednesday at the upper elevations so i was concerned about ice/gravel. The 18 is good, but the 138 has a bit of gravel on it. Given that our ride isn't for another 2 weeks I figure it will be cleared by then...

Here's a couple videos of some of my ride today...

Down from Crestline via 18

Crestline to Silverwood down the 138 (note the gravel on the sides of the lane)

this GoPRO is fun!

Don't know if I can make it. It's the wife's birthday weekend. On the other hand, maybe it's her gift that I get out of the house on Sunday. Put me down as tentative.

I'll see if I can make it. It's been extremely busy at work, and I might just need to go in this coming weekend.

I just got my new camera and this would be a great opportunity to test on real moving targets.

for those of us from the High Desert, figured on meeting up at TNT Cafe for a lite breakfast before heading down. Say 6:15-6:30. Leave by 7:00-7:15. If not aware, it's across the street from John's Incredible Pizza on Bear Valley just East of I-15.

ok, the GoPro is charged, with lots of empty sd cards, the map is loaded on the gps, and the gear is laid out. I'm ready to roll 0600 tomorrow morning.
