Jon28
So yes....I still haven't got a GPS for my bike. Now I'm debating on selling my Nuvi 760 and getting a Zumo or just getting the aquabox as mentioned here: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=49207 So while surfing I came across this link: http://www.navigenius.com/products.asp?dep...boxcontent#tabs And then I googled navigenius reviews and found that its just another bait and switch company that preys on us. I found the rip off report, which is an informative website, see here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/407/RipOff0407875.htm Anyways just another too good to be true deal fellas...you have been warned. Speaking of a Nuvi 760 (which is a pretty good unit)........they can be found at Sams Club for well under $200.

It's funny that the price of every Nuvi they offer has been dropping like a rock, but the Zumo has maintained it's price all this time. I see the Rider 2 comes with an in-helmet Bluetooth headset. I've already got an audio system for my bike (Starcom1), so I'd be interested in knowing whether it has a mini-plug that I could plug into to get the spoken directions fed through my existing Starcom1 unit. Member Contributer vanion2 Posted April 8, 2009 Member Contributer Share Posted April 8, 2009 For you shopping for the Zumo...FYI, the 450 series is now discontinued and after a recent search most places are out of stock so be wary of that fact before purchasing. Methinks this was done to force anyone hoping for a Zumo to buy the higher end unit at the higher price as they are pretty much the same except a few added bells and whistles. ripoffreport.com (as pointed out by Jon28) is a great site for ensuring your peace of mind on an internet purchase. I used it when I bought my Zumo 450 a while back and it saved me from finding out the hard way about the same site he has in his post.
