I've pretty much got to the end of my build with my frankenviffer, it's an early 800 but with a bit of weight lost on it, about 10lbs or so from the front, and it's running on a set of stock 929 forks. I've been trying to set up the static sag recently, aiming for about 20-25mm static and then another drop of about 10mm when I jump on board. I'm struggling to get any sort of decent number for the unladen sag, with the preload on max I'm getting about 34mm, which is a bit more than I'd like ideally. Has anybody had a proffesional look at their tweaked front ends, and what sort of spring rates were fited? Also, does anybody know what the stock spring rate on a VFR and on a cbr is, just for comparison?
