Changing Dash Lighting For A Vfr750fv

Can anyone direct me on what i would need to change the back lighting on the VFR 750 Fv dash as i would like to put in some blue LED's or bulbs.

Can anyone direct me on what i need to do and what i need if i can do it?

First, welcome to the forum.

This is for a 5th gen, but not too far off from a 750, it'll still be helpful:

My main concerns were how many LED's i'd need and whether there is any coloured film behind the dials as at the moment they show up green and i'm not sure whether its green bulbs or green backing on the dials.

ALSO!, what fitting would i go for. Thanks

Below is a pic of a third gen dash that shows how the gauges look when using regular bulbs or white LEDs. The bulbs or LEDs are type T10.

If I remember correctly you need 6 LEDs for just the gauges.

The speedo is lit by regular bulbs.

So the back green on the speedo cant be changed? If not then no worries ill just have to buy white LEDS for it all. leas they will be brighter and maybe a blue LED for the clock.
