I was pulling my interceptor out to wash and ride it and when I tried to shift into first gear it would lurch forward and die, like the clutch wasn’t engaged. Member Contributer Grum Posted October 22, 2023 Member Contributer Share Posted October 22, 2023 You may have a bit of clutch plate stiction from the lack of use over time. Sit on your bike in gear and clutch pulled in, rock the bike forwards and backwards, see if that breaks the stiction. Shine a torch into the hole to view the clutch, now operate the clutch lever, Do you see the clutch move outwards as you pull the lever in?
