  1. Hey there, funky question for anyone who's done this before me. I'm currently running a Delkevic slip-on exhaust for a 2015 and plan on getting the full headers system soon. My question to y'all is, what is the best way to tune the system for it? DynoJet has their Power Commander V but only has the two files for full stock and just a slip-on exhaust. Is there a different system for full exhaust setups better than DynoJet or is the only option having it custom Dyno tuned? I'd hate to pay hundreds for a custom Dyno just to have them install a file accessible anywhere. Thanks guys!
  2. Have anyone fitted a PVC and autotune to a 8 gen 2014?. I have the PVC is all wired up and working. The Autotune is a work in progress as I am in the process of getting a bund welded into the exhaust in front of the collector box, angled so the o2 sensor will fit. My understanding is that the Pair Valve needs to be disabled for the autotune to function best. I have not been able to find much on the 8 gen about this. Would a set of blocking plates do this and do this. I am looking at these on fleabay, would they work? PAIR Valve Removal kit with Block Off plates Honda VFR 800 F/V-tec Fi 1998-2015 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PAIR-Valve-Removal-kit-with-Block-Off-plates-Honda-VFR-800-F-V-tec-Fi-1998-2015/263681555506 or this? http://www.pmc-usa.com/2014-2015-honda-vfr800-interceptor-ais-smog-block-off-plates/ anyone have any experience with this setup on an 8 gen? What I really need to know is are the pair valve block off plates for the 6 gen and 8 gen the same? Any advice would be appreciated.
  3. Hello, New to the group and new to VFRs. Picked up a 2006 VFR with 8k miles. I got a Power Commander III to help with the dip in responsiveness/performance between 4k-6k RPM. Looking for someone to share a MAP to a PCIII or PC V that they run on their bike. My bike is stock with exception to the Power Commander. Any help would be awesome to get a MAP that someone is actually using or has experience with to upload to my bike. Any other suggestions for improving the performance I will gladly listen to. Thanks so much for the help and this group. Some really great content on here. Thanks!
  4. Hi All, I've bought the Power Commander 5 and Auto Tune kit, and today have just installed only the PCV (ran out of time for the Auto Tune). I loaded a generic map just to see how it goes, but it's running way too rich. Smoke out the exhaust indicates that, and it wasn't happening all day yesterday before the install. I have noticed an issue with the throttle position sensor, which I tried to calibrate by powering on the bike (but not turning it over), setting the left side to what the current voltage read, then turning the throttle all the way up and setting the voltage to the right. It did help, but I noticed a weird flat spot at around 22%. Even thou I turn the throttle on evenly and slowly, it will go up to around 22%, then nothing for a while (I still continue to turn slowly) until about 90% open (I'm guessing based on how far my wrist has turned the throttle), and then all of a sudden it goes fast to around 100% fully open. Best to have a look at the footage I recorded, and bear in mind that my wrist is slowly turning the throttle and the voltage is jumping around a bit. Also, if you turn up the volume loud you could hear a weird 'buzz'-like sound at near 90% open, which it seems is the give way area to where it goes fast to 100%. Anyone have any thoughts on this I would love to hear them.
