Hey guys this is my first post after looking around for a while. Do you guys and gals know I’d a 05’ CBR kick stand would fit a 6th gen 04’ VFR? I can’t find many adjustable kick stand / side stand for the 6th gen. CBRs look similar but if someone could verify that would be great! Or if you know of a quality parts seller who has a good deal on one? I’m going to lower my VFR by flipping the triangles and lowering the triple clamps. Some members have said they didn’t need to change out the kick stand since it only lowers it about an inch but to be in the safe side I’m going to get one and the CBRs are way less expensive.

I'm contemplating ordering the Knight Design lower pegs for my 1998 VFR800. For those that have tried the KD lowering pegs on their 1998 - 2001 VFR800, I have a question: What did you do about adjusting the brake pedal height? With the stock pegs, I have about 1/8" of threads left on the adjustment end of the brake pushrod. If I used all that adjustment, that would translate to roughly 3/8 " at the pedal which wouldn't be enough for me. How did you guys get past the issue of the limited range of adjustment in the brake rod? Thanks. - Walt

So, I want to use superbike bars on my vfr project. Since I won't be using the clip ons, I'll have 1 1/2" of fork sticking out of the top triple. I'd love for the top of the fork to sit flush with the top of the triple. So, my question is: is it possible to shorten the forks by 1 1/2" to keep the geometry stock and have the forks flush with the triple? I found this graphic from a little google-fu: I'm not sure I understand it, since I really have no idea about the anatomy of a motorcycle fork. Anybody have any insight to share?
